How often do you sit at your desk at work and browse your favorite stores online, maybe even making an impulse purchase or two? Come on, be honest.
I used to go shopping at the mall with friends for fun back in the day (pretending to be old), and I still go every now and again, but Id say the majority of all my shopping is done online. If you’re not tech-savvy but want to know more about ecommerce and online shopping, you can learn more about that here. Especially when Im shopping for items for my next vacation – good luck finding a cover-up for your private island escape in stores this time of year!
With that being said, Im so excited to share a project I am working on for April with you. PopNod is an online shopping destination that allows you to support local charities with your purchases – take a look at my style stories here. Next month they are launching the Stylemakers with a Cause campaign that pairs 10 DC bloggers with 10 amazing nonprofits.
I cant wait to work with these amazing bloggers, support an awesome cause and share style stories for my favorite, dreamiest destinations with you. I will share more about the cause I have chosen to support soon (you probably already know how passionate I am about education).
If you aren’t in the DC area you can certainly still participate. After all, you can shop online from just about anywhere these days (we even got wifi at our Bedouin camp!). Stay tuned for some great shopping and wanderlust inspiration next month.
