I have been having a lot of fun making videos to accompany my last few trips (check out my video from Israel). They aren’t anything professional, I simply shoot on my phone and upload to an app as I go, but they make for great little memories. I also think there’s so much more in a video than can be shown with just photographs.
So without futher ado, here is the latest gem from my most recent trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras (try to watch it in HD so it doesn’t look as crappy). It was a whirlwind of a weekend which you can probably tell from the footage. Let me know what you think! I’m pretty happy with how easy the whole process is so I may just keep doing this for all my travels.
What do you think?
Do you prefer bringing back photos or footage from your trips?
If you want to make your own, download the replay app. It’s so simple and let’s you import any songs from your music library so you truly can make the video on the go!
I prefer bringing back photos. However, I’m also really bad at that because I really like to just be in the moment so I don’t miss anything. But when it’s all over I usually have little evidence of the trip! I love your video though, it’ll be a lot of fun for you to look back on later.
Thanks Alexandra, I’m glad you liked it! I used to feel the same way but now it seems I have some form of camera glued to my hand at all times. Personally, I enjoy living in some moments through the lens while other times I just remind myself to put the camera away.
