The Best Spots to Photograph in Tulum

July 19, 2016

IMG_9260

Tulum offers no shortage of photogenic corners and Insta-worthy spots. If anything you’re going to have a hard time putting your camera away. Here are a few of my favorite places to take the perfect pictures of Tulum.

At sunrise get saturated silhouettes facing the north side of the beach, and pretty pastel vignettes facing south. (Pro tip: find an interesting subject on the beach, like drift wood, to anchor your photo).

For the prettiest stretch of the beach, visit Mezzanine Hotel. You can couple this with a visit of the Tulum Ruins.

Just past Zamas, heading south on Boca Paila, find stunning views of the ocean from the road.

Coqui Coqui is filled with great design and photo ops at every corner. We loved their property in Coba but there is one on the Tulum beach as well!

Raw Tulum has a fun beach seating area. Dream catchers and hammocks hang from the trees and the kitchen is painted in bright, warm colors.

MangleX offers a fun modern pool with a palm-filled backdrop.
