About The Together Traveler
Live the life you want. Let me help with the details so you can discover the world.
The Together Traveler provides tips for putting together a cohesive travel plan through local recommendations and online guides so you can get down to the important stuff, like enjoying yourself, on your trip. Winging it can be fun – the best memories come during the unplanned moments – but you also need to know enough about your destination so you don’t miss out on the good stuff!
Meet Tiffany
“The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy – it’s all that matters.” -Audrey Hepburn
Hi, I’m Tiffany, a 20-something post-grad living in DC. I started this blog back in 2011 as a way to keep in touch with family and friends while I studied abroad in Paris. And I got hooked. Hooked on travel and hooked on blogging. I continue to blog because I love telling stories (I could talk for hours). I also like chasing down new adventures, so my arsenal of stories is always growing. My desire for adventure is mostly fulfilled through travel, and along the way I enjoy taking pictures and eating really good food.
In my experience I have found a lot of high-class travelers and a lot of nomadic, backpack-toting wanderers. Although on different ends of the spectrum, if travel is included, I’d happily be either. Instead, though, I’m somewhere in the middle. A lover of adventure, but neurotically precise. If I go to Australia I want to experience surfing and stand outside the Opera House; if I go to Switzerland I want to stay in somewhere like Geneva Hotels, Metropole Hotel and have cheese fondue and if there’s somewhere I can dream of going, I do. A dreamer of far off destinations, most frequently found at home. Excited to try new things… after I Google up 50,000 facts about it. But hey, if I’m going to become an arsenal of travel info I may as well share it somewhere, right? And I’m here to prove to you that it’s possible to travel the world with a 9-5.
And as any Together Traveler would know, some of the best travel advice comes from personal experience. I may not have it all together yet – as one friend I met traveling put it, I’m more like the In-The-Process-Of-Getting-It-Together Traveler – but I hope you’ll join me on this journey as I learn to navigate the world and even find a little inspiration to discover new places for yourself.
Please don’t hesitate getting in touch with me. I love hearing from you!
Bon voyage!
